24 березня 2026 року представники Веселівської громади передали колекцію дитячих книжок для Запорізької обласної універсальної наукової бібліотеки. Ця важлива культурна ініціатива стала можливою завдяки підтримці наших надійних британських партнерів — благодійного фонду «The Friends of Oleksandriya» (Друзі Олександрії) з міста Бат.
Передача літератури є результатом живої та дієвої співпраці, спрямованої на підтримку українських дітей та розвиток культурного простору нашого регіону. Нові видання допоможуть маленьким читачам відкривати світ, незважаючи на всі виклики сьогодення.
Особливим моментом заходу стала присутність амбасадора наших британських друзів — Ведмедика Паддінгтона. Це підкреслює міцну дружбу та єдність цінностей України та Великої Британії.
Книги вже незабаром знайдуть своїх читачів на полицях обласної бібліотеки.
A Living Partnership in Action: Books from Friends in the UK for Children of Zaporizhzhia
On March 24, 2026, representatives of the Veselivka community donated a collection of children’s books to the Zaporizhzhia Regional Universal Scientific Library. This important cultural initiative was made possible thanks to the support of our reliable British partners — the charitable foundation “The Friends of Oleksandriya” from the city of Bath.
The donation of literature is the result of a vibrant and effective collaboration aimed at supporting Ukrainian children and fostering the cultural development of our region. These new books will help young readers explore the world, despite all the challenges of today.
A special highlight of the event was the presence of the ambassador of our British friends — Paddington Bear. This symbolically emphasizes the strong friendship and shared values between Ukraine and the United Kingdom.
The books will soon find their readers on the shelves of the regional library.
